Australian women spend $3,600 on beauty each and every year. Why let those hard earned dollars go to waste? Make your skincare work harder for you.
Here are our top tips for making each and every product work harder, better, faster, stronger for your skin.
(Yep, now you've got that song stuck in your head. Sorry about that.)

Ever thought about using your Purist products a little...differently? We have. Here's a few of our fave ways to multi task your fave Purist prods:
Breakouts? Mix our C l a y M a s k with a little apple cider vinegar, and apply directly as a spot treatment. Leave for a while before rinsing off. The clays will help to draw out impurities, while the apple cider vinegar balances skin and fights breakout-causing bacteria.
Wanting to mask, but scared of drying out already-dry skin? Instead of forming a paste from our C l a y M a s k with water, try combining with our F a c i a l O i l instead for a more hydrating bang for your buck and a deep infusion of beautiful, nutrient-rich ingredients for skin nourishing.
All out of cleanser? Try using our F a c i a l O i l as an oil cleanser. Oil cleansing is a great way to deeply moisturise and clean the skin (even oily and breakout-prone skins, believe it or not - oil cleansers work brilliantly for clearing the skin of impurities). I love to mix things up, and oil cleanse at least once or twice a week.
Hair looking dull, lifeless or brittle? Work a couple of pumps of B o d y O i l through the hair, from roots to ends. The olive oil is loaded full of healthy fats (like oleic acid), antioxidants and vitamins (like vitamin E) to promote healthy hair growth and deeply hydrate hair from the follicles. Perfect if you've been overworking the straightener, too!

Not seeing the same results you used to from a product you've been using for aaages? Mix it up! By cycling your skincare, and freshening up your routine from time to time, you can freshen up your results too. Start by cycling with the seasons: add and subtract one product each season. Moving into the warmer months? Try a clarifying moisturiser instead of a hydrating one (which your skin will love more in the cooler months).

Jade rollers are all over the place right now, and with good reason. These rolling tools with pure jade crystal work to increase circulation, brighten the complexion, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and aid in lymphatic drainage. Simply roll your favourite oil or moisturiser into the skin in upward motions. And, for bonus points, pop your roller in the fridge before using it to help relieve any puffiness.
We may or may not have some exciting Jade Roller news to announce soon, so stay tuned!

Treat yourself - and your skin - to a facial once in a while. A microdermabrasion or peel will help to deep clean your skin, shifting dead skin cells and preventing pore blockages while encouraging skin cell regeneration and renewal. You'll probably find that your skincare works more beautifully than ever with that fresh canvas of a face of yours! Beauty therapists spend most of their day looking at skin, so they'll usually give you a few post-facial tips, too. We love the Organic Hydro Microdermabrasion at Bodhi J, and the customised Deluxe Peel Treatments at Love Beauty.

Beauty is more than skin deep: it begins within. Your skincare is just the tip of the iceberg. To get real, long-lasting results, remember to keep in mind the bigger picture. Ensure you're eating healthy whole foods and less of the refined/processed stuff, drinking plenty of water, exercising regularly, and working to keep stress at bay.
