These 3 super-simple recipes are some of my favourites for boosting vitality and providing slow-release energy to keep me going throughout the day.
F O R S U S T A I N E D E N E R G Y
This juice is full of healthy calories for prolonged energy (perfect post-exercise), and loaded with calcium, potassium, iron, and Vitamins B and E.
- 1 banana
- 4 fresh dates
- 450ml milk of choice (organic cow's milk / lactose-free / nut milk)
- 150ml live yoghurt (or kefir / coconut yoghurt)
- 1 spoonful of tahini
- 1 spoonful of honey
- 1 spoonful of brewer's yeast
F O R A T I R E D M I N D
This recipe combines Vitamins A and C, potassium, zinc, magnesium and lycopene (a powerful antioxidant) to help boost energy and vitality. It also works to improve concentration, and is perfect for times of high stress or when you're facing a really large workload.
- 1 kiwi
- 2 green apples
- 2 carrots
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 handful watercress
- 1 handful spinach
F O R A N I N S T A N T B O O S T
This juice provides instant energy! It also boasts bug-fighting powers, helps to power up the brain, and reduces fluid retention. It's loaded with Vitamins A, B, C and E, as well as potassium and antioxidants aplenty.
